Our CSR programme is about 'Transforming Lives through Skills & Work'. By focusing on what we do best we can achieve more for all involved.
Our employees can use two paid working days to volunteer, with a main focus on ‘Employability and Aspiration’ to nurture the career development of young people.
One of our initiatives is to run workshops to build the attendees’ confidence and skills to find a job.

We’re very proud of the fact that our people get involved in arranging and overseeing placements for young people from underprivileged backgrounds, ranging from work experiences to apprenticeships which can even lead to permanent employment.
Every year we take on a new cohort of apprentices to provide them with meaningful paid employment while they work towards an NVQ qualification. We also fund bursaries for university students, with a focus on STEM subjects.
Every scholar is invited to visit our SThree offices and take up work experience.
Our people lead a range of fundraising initiatives including sports tournaments, dress down days and personal challenges to raise money for SOS Children's Villages and help reach our £1m target for the10th anniversary in 2018. Additionally, SThree matches fundraising up to £50k per year.
As part of our partnership with SOS Children we’re sponsoring a house in Zambia providing a home for seven orphans, funding scholarships for African students who grew up in SOS Children Villages and nurturing local partnerships with SOS Children in Germany and the US.
We’re aware of our responsibility as a global organisation to play our part in preserving our planet. That’s why we conduct an annual carbon footprint exercise to monitor our environmental impact and meet legal obligations. We offset our carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy projects.
We also continuously explore new ways to increase efficiency across the organisation to reduce costs, emissions, waste and ensure our employees' time is used effectively by giving them access to Virtual Meeting Rooms.
We look after our people and made Diversity and Inclusion, Developing Talent, and Employee Engagement core parts of our business.
We want to make sure our people’s voices are heard. That’s why we make them part of our annual conferences, launched Employee NPS to capture feedback and nurture various forums.
